Spicy Tiger was tasked with creating a visually dynamic and emotionally captivating campaign for the launch of Ferrari’s latest grand tourer, the 12Cilindri, as a follow-up to the beloved 812 Superfast. Our goal was to showcase the car’s unrelenting power and graceful elegance while staying true to Ferrari’s heritage of excellence and innovation.

The Campaign

We conceptualised a balanced visual journey that would blend fast, energetic shots with slow, graceful moments to emphasise both the raw power of the 12Cilindri’s V12 engine and its sleek, aerodynamic design.

The campaign aimed to evoke emotion and admiration, both for the car’s engineering marvel and its stunning design. Combining visuals with a dynamic script, we emphasised Ferrari’s decision to keep the 12Cilindri’s V12 engine purely mechanical, avoiding hybrid technology. The roaring 9500 RPM V12 engine became the centrepiece of the narrative, creating an emotional connection between the viewer and Ferrari’s rich automotive history.

Execution

This was achieved with creative use of coloured, dynamic lighting and camera movement combined with various editing techniques. The end result brings the duality of grace and raw power that the 12Cilindri bestows.

Results

The campaign effectively increased showroom traffic, drawing potential buyers to McCarroll’s showroom to experience the 12Cilindri firsthand. This direct interaction allowed customers to explore the car up close, deepening their connection with the brand and enhancing their appreciation for Ferrari’s craftsmanship.

Additionally, the campaign significantly boosted brand awareness through targeted social media placements. By engaging the right audience, it expanded Ferrari’s online presence, reaching new followers and encouraging interaction with the brand’s content.

A key highlight of the campaign was its stunning visuals. A cinematic approach, combined with energetic music and a bold voice-over, showcased the 12Cilindri as both a technical marvel and a work of art, reinforcing Ferrari’s reputation for excellence in design and engineering.
